Department of Clinical Pharmacy was established in August 2009. The department is primarily affiliated with the School of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Department of the First Affiliated Hospital. Simultaneously, it collaborates with other teaching bases such as the Second Affiliated Hospital, the Affiliated Children's Hospital, the Affiliated Sir Run Run Hospital, the Affiliated Tumor Hospital, the Clinical Medical College of Drum Tower Hospital, and the Fourth Affiliated Hospital. At present, the department has a total of 9 faculty members, including 3 professors, 3 associate professors (3 doctoral supervisors, 1 master supervisor), and 3 lecturers.  A discipline team has been formed with reasonable knowledge, age structure, and interdisciplinary advantages. The entire department is committed to educational reform, actively participating in the writing of several national planning textbooks, undertaking projects of teaching research , and publishing more than 10 educational research papers in SCI journals or domestic educational and teaching journals. The faculty members are also actively engaged in scientific research, achieving outstanding research results in recent years. They have undertaken over 20 national research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Youth Fund, and provincial-level research projects. A series of high-level research achievements have been obtained, with more than 50 academic papers published in internationally renowned journals. Additionally, the faculty has edited and published two academic monographs, and more than 10 invention patents of research outcomes have been granted. .
